Last weekend Zack played golf in the annual Flip Wilson Golf Playing Thingy. You should see the fotoes of the Golf Thingy Gang. While I was perusing them, I realized that if I were to let things get a little more serious with Zack, I could go ahead and really enmesh myself in a world of wealthy, white, supperpreppy, cap-wearing, golf-playing, Jaycee-belonging, incredibly boring people in whom I have no interest whatsoever, and then go to the most exclusive, pretentious, incredibly boring parties and functions, to which I could wear the clothes I own, which hang semi-petulantly in my THREE closets and sigh in a kind of fractious way every time I open the door to stuff another Halloween costume into storage. I have heard this.

What does this white boy, golf playing thingy have to do with Flip Wilson anyway??

Here's another mushroom mandala.

Snowflakeyish...

Today I gave Jake a bowl of polymer snow. It was AWESOME.

He was totally into it for over THREE HOURS. Who wants to buy some polymer snow? I have more!!

While Jake was making polymer snowballs I made homemade marshmallows, which I just LOVE to do.

Coming next: my annual photo essay on things that are still blooming in my yard in December.
