... Wind chill watch in effect from late Monday night through
Tuesday morning...

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a wind chill
watch... which is in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday
morning.

A modified Arctic air mass will settle into South Florida Monday
through Wednesday. On Monday night... low temperatures will range
from the upper 20s west of Lake Okeechobee... to the low and mid
30s across much of the remainder of interior South Florida... and
around 40 along both coasts. These cold temperatures combined
with northwest winds of 5 to 15 mph will allow for the lowest
wind chill readings to fall into the lower 30s along and near the
coasts... with widespread 20s across the interior. Therefore... a
wind chill watch has been issued for all of South Florida late
Monday night through Tuesday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A wind chill watch means the there is the potential for a
combination of very cold air and strong winds to create
dangerously low wind chill values. Monitor the latest forecasts
and warnings for updates on this situation.

Mini-me's coconut palm tree is just now starting to come back from last year's freeze. o.O I better pick the remaining lemons off my tree.

We've had cool weather since Thursday. Our cool spells normally don't last a full week. I guess I won't be selling a lot of cold sodas on Tuesday. If we could, I'd sell hot chocolate, but we have no outlet where we sell to keep it warm. Unless we moved indoors, which would make Coach happy.

One good thing about yesterday, FSU LOST! Ha! I'm happy. I usually cheer for all Florida teams, but I can't cheer for FSU.
