Oooh, Gary served up some yummy stuff! He cooked another 2 person pork roast, browning it in the pan before putting it in the oven - it came out juicy and moist. We had that with homemade applesauce and yams, which he cubed and cooked in a turkey stock, before throwing them into the pan the pork cooked in. And beets. I love beets.
Gary poached some thin-sliced apples in left-over local cider and local sweet white wine with cinnamon and ginger. He carmalized some onions and then tossed them in the pan with the apples. THEN he put that all over a little 2 person pork roast and cooked it.
He served it with baked sweet potatoes, and baby lima beans.
Do you even KNOW about gelato? It's generally really intensely flavored and is entirely different from those "Italian Ice" things you get from the icecream truck and not really like ice cream either - I think it's more refreshing
