-peel 5 or 6 potatoes and put them in the bottom of your crockpot.
-peel a similar amount of carrots and do the same.
-add a corned beef brisket on top of the potatoes and carrots, put in the liquid from the package, give it a quick rinse and dump that little water in. If there's a seasoning packet, put that in. If not, toss in some coriander(mine is homegrown), half a dozen pepper corns, a pinch of dry mustard and a crumbled bay leaf.
-chunk up some cabbage and put that on the top (make slaw of the leftover cabbage)
-dump in a can of beer
-cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high 4-6 hours
-devour with mustard and vinegar.
