So I'm a bit nervous about the job interview tomorrow. After I talked to Robert on the phone he made sure to know that I should leave open three hours worth of time for the interview. Three hours? Really?
Well I talked to Elvis about it and he said apparently when I arrive I'll meet my supervisor and then I'll be introduced around to everyone in the department. I'll then be shown exactly what my job would actually be, in order to get an idea if I would actually enjoy what I'd be doing. I actually thought that was pretty cool, as most jobs you go for, you don't truly know what your responsibilities would be. I like the idea of them taking the time out to throughly explain everything to me.
After the tour of the facilities is when the actual interview will take place. I believe he said that all the supervisors from my department would be present in the interview and it would be a lot like a Q&A session. Part of me is nervous about it, but for some reason I always end up feeling pretty comfortable in interviews after a few short minutes. I've been running through scenarios in my head of possible questions they could ask and responses I could come back with. Most of my responses Im thinking of are actual experiences I've had here at the office. It's funny what you can learn about working with other people, even if your in an environment completely unrelated to what you want to do with your future.
Anyhow, today I'm off to pick my clothes up at the dry cleaner, clean up the apartment and do a load or two of laundry at the laundromat. Maybe hang out with Elvis later on.
