Now on the road back to Wisconsin! Missy's graduation went well, and the whole trip was pretty smooth. I had one fight with my mom because I felt like she hurt Missy's feelings at one point, but it was near the end of the trip, so I'm not surprised it got a little heated. I'm traveling with my parents from Wisconsin to Virginia to attend my sister's graduation. We're in Columbus, Ohio tonight. My parents sprang for separate rooms, which surprised me -- I figured we were going to share a double -- but I can't say I mind having my own room ( Read more... )

I'm back home from New Jersey. My vacation was wonderful while being both exciting and relaxing, and I'm so glad I got a chance to visit harmonyangel and her family. I also got to visit New York City for the first time in my life. If I were to boil my vacation down to a few statistics, it would look like this:

Just played the pirates edition of The Game of Life with harmonyangel while drinking coke and rum and listening to the soundtrack of Pirates of the Caribbean. Also, I've got a pirate ship temp tattoo on my wrist that I won at an arcade. And we caught the last half of The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! this morning. Despite waking up at 4am on Thursday, and despite some nausea/lightheadedness on the first flight, my trip to Santa Monica was mostly good. My older sister Missy picked me up at LAX, and we caught up while driving to her apartment.
