9 days later....
Ok, so that title doesn't seem to hold as much water as "28 Days Later", but whatever. Time for an update, this time good news.
Mr. Journalistic Integrity emailed me today to see how I'm doing, what's new, etc. Nothing grand. Except for the
mention of getting little sleep because of the baby.
So we discern a few things from that statement. The baby is just that- a baby, not an 8 year old like I held out for. And the baby (he) is sleeping at Will's house at least part of the time. (Still holding out on that.)
I replied, partially out of courtesy and partially out of curiosity. And he wrote back, including two pictures of the beautiful/healthy baby boy and letting me know that he (Mr. Will) does not intend to cause such a great lapse in our communication again. Which is nice, I think. Things could get back on track, even if not in a relationship-sense. At least, immediately. Friends are always nice and babies are lovely. As long as I don't have to do diapers.
