2010 Update
So I haven't updated my LJ in a long, long time (read: 6 or 7 months) and having read Laverne's pretty intense LJ entries, I feel the need to do a quick life update.
1. Since June 1 2009, I have been living with 3 other gay men in Jamaica Plain. Our house is in an ideal spot for multiple reasons: easy T access, the 39 stops about a block from our door, Hi Lo supermarket, 7/11 and CVS are all within a block, JP downtown is an easy walk away, and Jamaica Pond is right nearby for casual good-weather strolling. The guys are pretty nice, too; one of them randomly tells me HOW glad he is that I moved in and HOW much he enjoys me being here. Not Little Edie-level creepy, but still fairly creepy.
2. Work continues to move along. New supervisor as of January 04, 2010. He's pretty low-key so far and every time I wonder something about him (personality-wise), the answer seems to magically appear. Which I like. You don't meet too many magical folks anymore.
3. Jack and I seem to be getting hot and heavy. Or have gotten hot and heavy. He's super nice, got a great job and wonderful homes in the Back Bay and College Terrace (Palo Alto, CA). Only problem is his wife and 2 college-aged sons. Oops. Oh well, you can't win every ball game. Next weekend should be fun, as should tomorrow night when he's back from the Bay Area. I miss him. (Which I still choke on every time I think or say it, but I'm getting used to it s l o w l y but s u r e l y.) I hope he can come to Ben's concert at the New England Conservatory on Wednesday night, but I'm not putting all of my eggs in one basket on that.
4. That's about it right now for MAJOR updates. I got an H1N1 vaccine last week and a seasonal flu vaccine in November, which makes me happy because I like getting vaccinations and have already done most of the "once-in-a-lifetime" shots.
