Two days before it's released I'm seeing it!
The best news of today has to be that I'm seeing Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest tonight! The reels came in today so they are running two of them tonight and we employees get to watch the movie. *dances around merrily* And I'll see it again tomorrow night since they'll play it again then. Yay!
Last night Stef, Mallory and I met George at the diner to make some plans for our little party. We moved the date from July 28th to August 2nd. Jason joind us and then his sister Jess showed up. Afterwards Stefanie, Mallory and I took George back to the house so he could see the backyard. It's been George approved.
Today work was mellow except for about 200 kids who came in with a camp. Sean and I switched shifts so I got out of concession around 1:30, took my break then clocked back in and got changed so I could paint. Chris and I never got started until near three because the managers were all upstairs setting up PotC:DMC. We needed the paints before we could do anything.
Chris sketched and did some minor painting on the barn he's doing while I outlined part of a tree and then painted a scene on an angled pair of windows. I painted a wooden fence with grass under and around it with some blue and white flowers mixed in. I love how it came out too. I just need to get a camera so I can take pictures as we go along.
Tomorrow I'll be back at two to do some more painting. Depending on how long this is going to take, I might have to give up my Friday and/or Sunday so I don't go over forty hours this week. I hope we paint at a slow pace.
Now I need to finish up, take a shower and do some other stuff before leaving here to get Stefanie around 10:45. Then I have to drop her off at home, go pick up Sean and then head for the movies. Hopefully Ray and Mr. Pearson will hold off on playing the 11 o'clock showing until we get there since they know we are coming and Ray joked about if he's a nice manager he might wait for us.
Oh and I made a new icon last night. It's of my bookshelf although it only shows the first three shelves. The second shelf alone is three books deep and packed.
