[Bulma sighs as she walks towards the residential area where she has been told that her room is, her steps are heavy and tired. She's exhausted, emotionally rather than physically and her eyes are red from crying. They haven't swollen up yet but it won't take long, now that the last stamp was put and she got the stupid towel, the guide and

[She won't be surprised if the information regarding it is mostly scarce.]

The Drive can get from any point A in the universe to any point B in the universe in the exact same amount of time. And it has mega-weird side effects. Last month we were dressed in poodle skirts, and before that no one was able to lie...

[But wait...]
Poodle skirts? Ew, I hope that doesn't happen again, those skirts totally aren't my style.

[He's talking about all of the technology of course]

[And already kind of thinking how to combine it with her own level of technology and use her genius intellect to make something even better. it's a small part yet though.]

I know the position of my planet regarding a good range of the galaxy and based on the season and time. Knowing the speed at which this ship moves I can try to make an approximation of where it is assuming it moves in a straight line and calculate its position under that assumption. Then, with that base, we just would need to take into account the other variables involved in space traveling and we could at the very least make an approximate guess of where it is. It won't be accurate most probably, but it should be possible.
[She's confident on it at least so she will give it her best try.]

So...so that means you can find your home! And if you can find your home, you can find other planets too, right?
Can you find other ships, like this one?

Bulma hesitates for a second there. Find her home? She was told that the Earth had been destroyed so there's not much to find... Then again she certainly plans to use it to find New Namek so it counts.]
I'm not a hundred percent sure if I can find them, but I'm pretty confident that I can at least get close to them. Of course for that I would also need to know at least an approximation of their position in the universe or a galaxy within an acceptable range of distance.
As for other ships, it could be possible, though those would be harder and trickier, planets move but they tend to remain within a certain position range thanks to gravity fields but ships move freely across space thus being more difficult to pinpoint just like that. Are you interested in finding other ships?

I think we should have paid a bit more attention to communication as there's still room for improvement in that field.

After he's had enough, he flicks on the video. ]
I highly doubt there is any way of figuring the ship's average speed. It seems to jump instantaneously from one point to the next.

[Thanks to her other conversations most of her mind had been actually distracted from the situation, work is always good for that, focus on it, work until exhaustion and she won't have to deal with the pain. So she answers in a technical tone for a second there, until she realizes whose voice it is prompting her to look at the video feed.]

[She didn't think... She didn't dare to have hopes. It was easier that way than to delude herself into thinking that they would be safe, that at least she wouldn't be the only one. Because there was a limit of time for how long one could delude oneself, so she's actually incredulous at the image.]
