[Bulma sighs as she walks towards the residential area where she has been told that her room is, her steps are heavy and tired. She's exhausted, emotionally rather than physically and her eyes are red from crying. They haven't swollen up yet but it won't take long, now that the last stamp was put and she got the stupid towel, the guide and

[She won't be surprised if the information regarding it is mostly scarce.]

The Drive can get from any point A in the universe to any point B in the universe in the exact same amount of time. And it has mega-weird side effects. Last month we were dressed in poodle skirts, and before that no one was able to lie...
Reply
[But wait...]
Poodle skirts? Ew, I hope that doesn't happen again, those skirts totally aren't my style.

I think we're safe from living through that again. That is, unless the Drive has to make a jump that's exactly as improbable as jumping from the former location of the S.S. Sigrun to the planet we're over now, Duplego.
Reply
If it's really as improbable as it seems a repetition wouldn't be really appropriate, besides I guess there are hundreds of variables involved on that, for all of them to get the same result as before is... Crazy. Specially after such a short amount of time, as time passes though it may indeed happen. Does the Drive happen often?
Reply
Right. In fact, you might say getting the exact same improbability is, in itself, the most improbable thing. Wait... I wonder if the Improbability Drive affects things like that, too?
It happens about once a month, whenever we move to another planet.

So during the time the effect was activated that was all the kind of clothes you could find? I hope if anything like that happens again it will have a better taste.
Then it has some sort of settled time to occur? If that's the case it may be possible to walk around it when making calculations. Do you have any information about the planet we're currently over?

Oh, this planet? It's mega-cool! It's like a giant junkyard inhabited by robots! The food stinks, though.
Try looking it up in your Guide, there's a lot of information available about it!
Reply
Oh, thanks, I've to get used to this thing yet but I'll check it! And... Robots, huh? Like androids and such? Or a more domestic type?
[She's checking the Guide as she talks though, don't mind her.]

More domestic, I'd say. I mean, most of them have a human-ish shape, with two arms and two legs and all that. But they're all really short, with funny little clamp hands and cylindrical heads!

[Memories of Namek, it had been supposed to be like a vacation, dammit.]
Aww, sounds like the type of robots I'm used to, maybe even a bit less advanced than what I'm used to. I was looking forward to seeing an android or something like that. Still, this planet does seem cool, can we get off and visit it freely? I may try to pay it a visit before the ship leaves.
Reply
Oh, don't worry! There's androids on the ship! I've seen one around the Yorozuya sometimes. She's called Tama.
Yeah, feel free! There's shuttles going to and from the planet that you can take when you like.
Reply
Really? That's great, I hope she's not dangerous. I would like to study more about them.
[More like study them in general. Even with the Earth gone she has been dying from curiosity since she heard about the androids the boy from the future talked about.]
Awesome, I'll be sure to pay the planet a visit then, it sounds really interesting and I may get something useful from it.
Reply
No idea, but... I think she's a maid? So she can't be that dangerous. If you'd like, I could forward you directions to the Yorozuya and you can see if she's around.
Reply
I would appreciate that, I hope she doesn't mind my questions.
[At least she won't try to take her apart to study her.]
