My first con in more than a year and it was a mixed bag affair. My experience (and my performances) would have probably been a fair sight better had i not been as sick as i was. It's truly hard to roleplay when you're a raspy, weak limbed mess. By the last day my voice was terribly frayed which actually worked to my advantage when playing the discworld game. I was playing two women trapped in the one body (a role that had been split in larger groups) and made the wizard persona soft spoken and the barbarian persona hoarse and coarse. By far the most fun game i played all con due to the interaction of the players. And i was glad to get an award for it despite the awards ceremony almost putting me to sleep.
Felt cheated that the team who won best team for rockets red glare were the team who angled for the peaceful solution.
