(no subject)
Just so you know, we got back from Paris safely, if rather jet-laggedly. I have spent the past several days recovering from that, primarily, and getting caught up on all the stuff I missed in the US during the week that I was gone. I was pretty wiped out for a couple of days but I'm feeling better now and ready for a fun weekend. Two things about that:
First, I'm playing a solo show at the Coffee Grounds at 1579 Hamline Avenue in Falcon Heights this Friday, October 1 at about 7 p.m. The show will be shared once again with the awesome Candles Enough. It's free and open to all ages, so please come out if you can!
Second, Twilight Karaoke is finally back at the L&M in Dundas this Saturday! (It was back last month too but I had a conflict then so I couldn't make it.) I am very interested in going, but it's a pretty long drive to make all by myself, so I'm looking for others who would be interested in either driving down with me or meeting me there. Karaoke goes from 9-1 and we usually stay for the whole time. I might be up for dinner somewhere in the Northfield area beforehand if schedules allow. Let me know if you are interested.
Since I spent my vacation reading many books - some very good, some horrible in really fascinating ways - I suspect I will have much more to post about very soon. Not right now, though, since my break is over.
