Curmudgeon Blames October
The AC/heating guy came for annual heater maintenance. He also replaces the filters while he’s up in the attics where the units are. To get to the one in the top attic, you have to perch precariously on the rim of the trap door, something Curmudgeon and I prefer not to do, so the repairman just takes care of it while he’s up there. The weather has cooled down (if you can call it that), with highs in the 80s today and tomorrow. Tomorrow night we expect lows around 48, so we may want to use that heater.
While he was here, I realized a dead wasp had been on my work chair where I’d been sitting for fifteen minutes! This was a smaller yellow wasp than the big black possible mud wasp I’d found on the floor a week or so ago, so I think it was the real deal. The stinger was still there. I bet it would have hurt my sweet patootie!
