A saint, his bread, a feast, doughboys.
LA FESTA DI SAN ROCCO
August 16th is the feast of Saint Rocco. When I used to be a church-goer, nearby Saint Rocco's in Johnston (RI) was my parish. The celebration, complete with a procession during which a statue of the saint is carried, takes place on the Sunday following the 16th. That would be next Sunday.
