Undressing Your Seeker/Confessor

I've been working on making my own version of Kahlan's confessor dress so I've been studying different pictures to figure out just how everything on that dress would work. I thought others might find some of this useful, whether it's for their own costume or as a reference for fic ^_~.

Haha thanks! ^_^ You know, I think all of us should have our own seeker or confessor to play around with. XD

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they mentioned in one of the behind the scene clips that they have at least some of the same people working on costumes that did LOTR. They definitely put in a lot of work on all the costumes and the authenticity is a little beyond what I'm willing to try to recreate. XD

Your random musing was so totally my random musing about 15 minutes ago! I was remembering that someone else mentioned that aside from coloring Kahlan and Denee had the same outfit. I haven't gone back to verify that myself, but the thought that went through my mind was "Well they're sisters, so I guess they they share the same seamstress."

For a more serious answer, I would think it had something to do with making Kahlan and Denee more appealing since they're the first characters shown. Since Kahlan is the female lead they probably wanted to give her a sexier outfit (and Bridget definitely has a rack that fills the outfit out nicely ^_^)and they just went ahead and gave Denee the same outfit. Perhaps at that point they were going with the two of them being the last confessors and having all confessors wear the same style dress. In the behind the scenes costume clip there is a short shot of Bridget in a much plainer white dress.

I'm just going to go with the idea that Kahlan and Denee have similar taste and go shopping at a different place than the others. ^_~ Wow, this became a long reply!
