Trick or Treat in the Dead of Night

Hey!! Hope everyone's Halloween weeked was super awesome. Mine was a little different than usual this year. Normally I hang out with a bunch of friends, dress up, go for dinner then head back to their place for some video gaming, since they had the pirate wedding this year it was decided that we'd forgoe the usual party. For the most part I just kind of camped out in the living room and watched horror movies on AMC. :B I'm boring like that.

On Friday my psych instructor was part of a special lecture held by the Students Psychology...association? Something, on campus. I went to that 'cause it was "The Psychology of Horror" which actually ended up being a lecture on zombies. Pretty awesome. ^^ I learned a few new things, like zombies would explode in high heat due to the gases. XD I need to find myself a house in like, Arizona or some place.
After the lecture I went over to the theatre downtown to watch "Saw 3D" with Steven.
Now... I've never seen any of the saw movies and was only intrigued by this one 'cause I wanted to know what happened to Sean Patrick Flanery's character. I knew it would be gory.... and it was. I had also heard that Chester Bennington's trap is the most gruesome in all of the Saw movies.
... I'd believe it. Ew. Had my hands in front of my face for most of that sequence.

All in all though, I enjoyed the movie. Nice guilty pleasure after a week of classes.

Saturday pretty much just consisted of homework/studying and AMC.

HALLOWEEN much like Saturday but then of course The Walking Dead premiere. In short? My new favourite show (and Norman Reedus hasn't even showed up yet. :P ). They keep it really close to the comic but at the same time go and expand on other areas that might only be a passing comment in the book. The cinematography is amazing, as well as the SFX Makeup. Might do a review/recap thingie once I get a minute.

Back to the grind today. Finally got my English paper back: 90% boom! Haha, way better than I was expecting.

I've got my German oral exam on Wednesday, biology midterm on Friday, German and Psychology midterms on the following Tuesday, got one in English coming up too... plus my second philosphy paper due on the 19th.

... It's going to be pretty hectic for the next two weeks. D:

tv: walking dead, halloween, movies: saw, school
