Dear Ben Cross (Letter 42)
Hi Ben,
Hope your weekend went well. Mine was busy as usual and I really can't believe it's Sunday night already.
First on the ducket..ZOMG I got an email from the By Night Studios guys asking me if I'm ok with playing a character. They say it's a particularly key role.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with the fact that she has no Canadian background...but it should be a great role (more on it later) and it's only a game. So OMG, I'm pretty sure I'm getting this character!!! *SQUEE* I've asked for a lot of information so that I can go in and rock it when I'm there.
SO EXCITED!!
As I said, my weekend was busy. Free Fall Friday on Friday, coupled with a Dr. appointment.
As for the Dr., I ended up getting X-Rays for my knee. I am slightly concerned. The Dr. keeps bringing up my age, which is annoying. I am well aware of what my age is thanks and I don't need a reminder every time I go. At any rate, I am waiting for the results. At least it's early in the injury and I'm trying to nip it in the bud.
In the evening I went to see some friends I haven't visited in ages. It was great actually. I had a wonderful evening but ate a little too much. It was a great visit and I hope to see them more often.
Saturday I went to the dentist. My dentist is quite awesome and he filled a huge cavity and the chip my front tooth. I had zero pain and was quite pleased about it. The repaired chip exactly matches the rest of the tooth..you can't even tell. This is important for a front tooth :) Can't say enough about the guy...a couple of weeks ago I had a root canal done and had very little discomfort. He's also great with needles..very gentle. I <3 him.
The rest of the day was spent at home as I needed some 'me' time. There were a few things that I could have gone to but honestly, I've been so busy that I just wanted to have one afternoon to myself. So I did. It was a good plan. There was napping involved. I love napping. Highly recommend it.
Have I mentioned I'm concerned about my performance at Blood and Betrayal? I'll probably be fine. GAH!!! :)
Have to go. I have a bit of a headache and will need to go to bed. After I get an aspirin.
