Dear Ben,
Hope you're weekend is going well.
I'm sitting here drinking sake and watching Netflix. It's hotter than Hades in here, even with the balcony door open, kitchen window open and the fan going. I should have invested in a portable air conditioner. I tell myself that I will buy one every spring and every spring something comes up and I don't. Damn trips :)
It's been a crazy weekend. This is the first time I haven't been out until 10 pm all week. Had a lovely cooking lesson Thursday, Friday I went to Earl's with a good friend and her family and Saturday I volunteered all day at an old folks home and then went for a bbq with my friend and her family again. Busy, busy!
I think that tomorrow I may go to Chinook mall to get a new cord for my Ipod. My computer isn't recognizing it which is most vexing.
The person who is making my costume for New Orleans let me try it on for sizing. Oh my God it's going to be beautiful. You should see the jacket..GORGEOUS!! It has a stand up collar. It is going to be awesome :) I can't wait until October. Music, alcohol..possibly men. *grin* I know, I know. You have not been replaced. But one must be realistic about things. I may never meet you. And I must have some fun in this life.
All I can say is that your missing out :) But if you are in LA or New Orleans when I'm there.... ;)
