I read this story based on your rec and I enjoyed it very much. Your taste is definitely darker than mine. However I am really enjoying reading your recs because you are so specific about what's interesting about the writing. That's very instructive and it makes me more likely to try something more challenging

Thanks! It's good to know that people are listening to my recs. I do tend to like fic that's more literary, or really has something 'pop' about it, and I guess those fics for me tend to be the darker ones
