1. Yep, new default icon for the length of the writers' strike. Am I annoyed that my shows are going to be disrupted? Hell yes. But I fully support the writers in this. They have been screwed by the production companies out of any decent money at all on web downloads and DVD sales (among other things). Seriously, a writer gets $0.04 for every DVD ( Read more... ) -

Apparently, they're trying to change the copyright laws to make penalties for breaking them ridiculously draconian. PLEASE go to the EFF and send a letter to your lawmakers protesting this ( Read more... ) -

Copy-Protected DVD's?!
Okay, I don't have a clue where to even begin looking for a way to get this question answered. Recent DVD sets I've bought (Space: Above and Beyond, for one -- that's the one I've tested. Others have the same copy-protect symbol but I haven't tested them) inactivate my DVD player's built-in screencap button. I specifically paid for that software ( Read more... ) -
Fantasia Screencap Files Available!
I'm making my screencaps of Fantasia available for a limited time. These were all done by me from the DVD, and many of them are high quality caps. I tend to go through a DVD and pause every time I want a good cap, then frame advance until all weird effects from motion are gone.
