CRAZY NUTCASE CRAIG IS CRAZY! AND A NUTCASE!

All work and no play makes Craig a dull boy.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA FOR REAL, PEOPLE. Craig gave Jack Nicholson a run for his money in the first half of today's episode!!!

He was in the middle of throttling the bajeebus out of Ellis in the movie theater when Carly shows up and demands to know why he's trying to kill his accountant in the dark. Craig throws Ellis around a little bit more (causing Ellis to toss his bucket of popcorn into the air, which then rained down on all three of them HAHAHAHAHAHAHA) and then somehow, that slippery little accountant got away! So Craig's on the rampage, tearing through Old Town, when he bumps into Gabriel, who demands more money from him. Craig flips out like WHOA on him, and a passer-by stops to berate Craig for being so harsh on the kid, to which Craig screams back that he isn't the one doing torturing and we should TRUST HIM ON THIS because he's not acting like a supreme whackjob or anything. Unfortunately for Craig, he was actually telling the truth. HA!

So Craig tells Gabriel to piss off, and he and Carly end up having a heated argument back at Monte Carlo after he confesses that he invested the money for the company and Ellis stole it all away. This is, of course, a half-truth, because Carly doesn't know that the whole thing was Craig's idea (she thinks Ellis just took the money from them and ran), but it almost doesn't matter because either way, Carly thinks their business venture is dead, and she was really upset about it. And then Craig tries to fix the situation by KISSING HER, and after she pulls away with a "WTF was that?!" face, SHE JUMPS BACK INTO HIS ARMS TO LAY IT ON HIM GOOD. My turn for a "WTF was that?!" face!

Then of course, Craig tries to convince Carly that she's much better off with him, because something that "felt so right couldn't possibly be so wrong" (*gag, hurl*) and he fully believes that Jack is not the knight in shining armor that Carly is always trying to make him out to be. Then Carly basically gives Craig the finger and goes on home, thinking that Monte Carlo is completely gone. :-P

Then Craig gets the bright idea to plant a bomb to burn Monte Carlo down so he can collect the insurance money. This is all well and good - or whatever - except that during all of this, Parker and Gabriel's EPIC PISSING CONTEST has turned into an all-out WAR. While still in Gabriel's room at the Lakeview with Liberty, Parker demands to know what Gabriel's been up to, and after Gabriel stutters and chokes and can't give him any answers, Parker labels him a crook and tells him he will find out what's going on. Unfortunately, in the process, Parker also kinda made an ass of himself, because he finds out from Faith later that Gabriel was covering for her with the whole drugs incident. But! Seriously, Parker's not that far off from Gabriel's character. And he finds this out later, after checking with the bank and finding out that his trust fund has been completely emptied. He wanted to set up a nice, fancy evening out with Liberty but instead found out that someone has been spending the money from his trust fund like it's their job.

So after Craig has hatched his brilliant bomb plan and has it all wired and ready to blow, Gabriel shows up at Monte Carlo (for what reason, we don't know), and Parker is hot on his heels. He yells at Gabriel that he knows he's the one taking all his money (through Craig), and Parker threatens to inform the cops. Gabriel reaches out and grabs his arm to stop him, and Parker turns back to wail Gabriel across the face.

Okay, so...I've wanted Parker to sucker punch Gabriel pretty much from day one. But I have to admit, Parker's punch was a BIT pre-emptive. Gabriel didn't attack him, he just grabbed Parker's arm. I know Parker was angry and all, but he didn't have to hit him right away.

Ack. What am I saying? :-P Anyway, Parker hits Gabriel, who then falls back and slams his head against the corner of the desk (Paging Dr. Oliver!), and Parker can't wake Gabriel up. Just as all this is happening, Craig is pressing buttons on his detonator switch outside Carly's doorstep, and the bomb goes off at Monte Carlo. Cue smoke and fire and destruction. :-) Preview for tomorrow has the building up in smoke and Parker flipping out because he thinks he's going to get blamed for starting the fire. Oh yes, and Gabriel's still passed out inside the building as it burns. OH HOW IT BURNNNNNNNS. :-P

Also, Liberty talks to Carly and lets her know that she thinks that Parker is off on some wild goose chase and is only acting out of jealousy. She's partly right, but she's also partly dumb. I can understand that she's ticked off because she feels like Parker is breathing down her throat, but why she wouldn't take him more seriously is beyond me. Parker isn't a raving lunatic. He and Liberty are very close. She should trust him a little bit more, I feel. Especially since Parker is not that far off about Gabriel! Must run in the Ciccone family - that whole "Hey! I've known you for five seconds, but I'm immediately going to take your side over my trusted friend/lover JUST BECAUSE I CAN" thing. Nice to see that Janet has instilled some solid Ciccone Family Values in Liberty. *headdesk*

Oh, and Faith is SO TOTALLY all googly for Parker. OMG. She couldn't have been more obvious at Java if she tried. "Oh, Parker, take me. Right here on the table at Java!" UGH. Remember how you're cousins, Faith? And remember how your crushes on Parker kinda creep me out? YEAH. x_x

And Lily tried to do a nice thing for Faith - namely, she packed a box full of Faith's things to bring to the farm, but when the two of them got to talking and Lily questioned Faith about Gabriel and his whereabouts, the conversation quickly took a turn for the bad. Then Holden and Molly show up at the farm, and Lily is all teary-eyed because Faith peaced out to go do her homework at Java, and Holden had to calm Lily down. So then Holden goes to the Lilypad to pick up Faith's things while Lily and Lucinda are gasping over a recent fax from Sierra, which is a picture of Gabriel. Y'know...THE Gabriel. God, I wish they would stop saying that. I don't care who THE Gabriel is...can we get back to Luke and his whole story now, please?!

Anyway. :-P Lily says that she knew Gabriel was going to come back to bite them in the ass (I'll leave that phrase to your imagination, haha) and I'm guessing that Lucinda is now going to be Lily's partner in crime in whatever they're going to do, because it has been revealed that Craig is Gabriel's father. GASP, FAINT, CRY, ETC. Who cares?! :-P And seriously, who didn't see this coming?! The writers haven't exactly been original with this storyline.

I wonder if Craig'll find out and then realize that Gabriel's in the burning building and will then throw himself into the fire to save him. "Oh, my baby!" he'll cry. "Someone help me find my baby!"

Uh, yeah...NOT A SNOWBALL'S CHANCE IN HELL.

Anyway. Not a bad episode, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that all I've wanted to do is watch Luke's story this week. This one-day-a-week thing is frigging killing me, because I'm really hyped about this triangle that's supposed to be happening. Spoilers have been a bit on the juicy side and I can't wait to watch all the soapy goodness play out on screen. And Noah's going to be a part of it, too! Yay.

PS - Molly is going to do something dumb where it concerns Holden. I can feel it. I don't know what yet, but accepting flowers and phone calls from Silas Whitman is a step in that direction. C'mon, Molly, don't be dumb!
