So Casey says today, "I'm ready to kill someone at a moment's notice."
Well, I have someone to suggest for you, Case! Three guesses as to who it is. :-)
Okay, so my honest question is: does Mick have creepy Twilight Zone mind-control over Alison like he does Emily, or is Alison merely a dumbf*ck?
Haha! No, really. I honestly want to know if Mick's got some control over her, and that's why she's suddenly all attracted to him and whatnot. 'Cause I can't come up with any other reason that would genuinely pull her in his direction. Especially since she's got Casey.
Oh, yeah, and Mick's line today about Ali's marriage to Casey being a TRAP? Oh, yes, it's a trap, all right. What with Casey's proclamations of eternal love and comfort and care. Oh, God. Run away, Ali! SAVE YOURSELF! You know Casey's got some ulterior motives to be offering you that in a marriage!

Anyway. So, things are getting heated between Ali and Mick now. Y'know, if it were any other person that Ali was marrying, I'd probably be okay with this storyline. But since it's Casey, and since Casey has been buttcrazy in love with her since, I don't know...FOREVER (and he seriously turned MADDIE down for Ali), and since I adore the crap out of Casey and want to see him happy, this story makes me mad. That, and I don't feel any real attraction between Ali and Mick. So I guess I'm hoping Mick's got the voodoo mojo working for him where Ali's concerned.
Okay, so that's all I'm gonna say on the Mick subject. :-P I've made my stance on him pretty clear, I feel. No need to keep beating the dead horse. (Except I might go off when we have to endure the Ali/Mick sexytiems...:-P)
Okay, so Barbara made me very happy today! YAY! She finally cuts Mick loose and says he's on his own! Whew. I thought it was funny how Paul was like, "You're totally on his side!" to her today, because I said the same thing in my recap yesterday. :-) But yes, Barbara tells Mick to go piss up a rope. YEAH!
And Emily today...oh, thank the Lord she started remembering that Mick's got her under his spell. YAY! Except the whole "harvesting egg" thing? BLECH! I would not let that man anywhere NEAR my nether regions, baby or not! Ugh. And she just walks away from a procedure like that like nothing happened? Is that possible? Isn't there some amount of pain when getting your eggs extracted from your body?
You know what...I don't even want to know. :-P
So how awesome was Lisa at Ali's bridal shower today? HAHA. I felt so bad for Margo, though, because she was really trying to do something nice for Ali, and Susan kept screwing it up. I think Susan really needs to put her feelings aside and try to play nice with the Hughes family. For real. Margo was truly upset today when she found out that Ali's friends weren't coming. :-(
But Lisa and her negligee and all her sex talk. HAHAHAHA. Very funny. I heart Lisa.
Although the party seemed to turn around a bit at the end. Susan admitted that she was freaking out over a silly set of towels for nothing. And Ali was really cute when she thanked Lisa for everything. Hee!
And Casey and Tom father-son bonding time rules! They were so cute with their pizza and beer (and sex talk as well, lol). I really like that they've been spending so much time together recently. It's really nice to see them bonding. (Now if Holden and Luke could start doing this again, I'd be over the moon!) I'm glad that Casey isn't giving up on his dream of being a lawyer. And how sweet was Tom when he offered to pay for something romantic and nice for Casey to do for Ali for their wedding night? AW. Tom Hughes, you are a good man. ♥
And then he and Margo were about to get something romantic and nice going on themselves! LOL. I love Tom and Margo. Absolutely adorable together.
Oh, yeah, and bring Riley Adam back! I miss Adam. He and Casey were so good together as bros. Especially when they were trying to pound each other's skulls in. :-)
Aaaaaand previews! Lily thinks Meg killed Damian LULZ! HAHA. I kinda love that a lot. Hehe. Uh, Lily, methinks you are a bit off the mark. You're actually talking to the person who beat Damian's brains in. :-P C'mon, Holden, 'fess up! :-)
So today's recap was kinda lackluster, and I apologize. I'm rocking a wicked headcold at the moment and am lacking a bit in my usual energy. I'm drinking myself into oblivion with my orange juice and going to get some extra rest, if I can! Looking forward to tomorrow's ep. Hopefully we'll get to see Luke's pretty pretty face. ♥
And oh yes, I might not be able to do the recap tomorrow. :-( I'm at my parents' house, and they're having the floor redone in their office tomorrow, which is where Mr. Computer lives. :-( But if I'm able to do it later tomorrow night, I promise I will.
