And Mick Offers To Stick His "Needle" In Other Places As Well - Today's Recap, 2/3/10
Thank you Paul Ryan, for inspiring my recap title today.
All right, so. Wanna know which people from today's episode are on my ShitList?
MICK. Need I say more? Creepy ugly bastard is creepy and ugly. And a bastard.
EMILY. Geez-oh-man, woman! Y'know, I get that she wants to have a baby, I do. She's been going on and on about having a baby for what seems like forever now. And I love that she wants it with Paul. But now she's under Mick's voodoo spell and is pushing Paul too much and not listening to Paul enough. Why can't she simply LISTEN to what Paul is saying? Not once did he say that he didn't want to have a baby with Emily. All he wants is for her to wait a bit for her body to fully recover from being in a coma. He's not asking for world-domination here. It's quite a simple request, and it's for Emily's own benefit!
BARBARA. Uh, remember PAUL? He's kinda your son. Right now we're seeing how all of Barbara's allegiance lies with James/Mick/jerkoff person dude, because she's keeping the secret about him even when Paul ASKS HER FLAT OUT ABOUT HIM. And gee, who ELSE could "J" be? I wonder. The man just can't seem to die. (That's not something I say every day! :-P)
Aaaaaaaand ALI. Oh, you knew it was coming, didn't you? :-P Alison Stewart, I bite my thumb at thee. I loved you once, and I'm sure I'll love you again, but right now, I kinda want to BREAK MY FOOT OFF IN YOUR HIND PARTS. Ugh. I mean, really...Mick vs. Casey...is there REALLY a contest there? Am I just stark raving mad thinking that Casey trumps Mick without even trying? If so, I'll stick with being a lunatic. :-)
Somebody wake me up when Mick's story is over, please. It's making me nuts. Though I gotta say, I NEVER get tired of seeing Paul shove him around! God. Aggressive!Paul is so awesome, I just love him!! Beat him up some more, Paul! C'mon! A little thrashing never hurt no one. Too much. :-P
So, basically, if you haven't been following Mick's storyline (and I say good on ya if you aren't :-P), Mick's got some mind-control (*cue Twilight Zone music*) thing over Emily, and now, I think Alison, too. You know how in anime, when the characters get all confuzzled and dazed, they have swirly eyes? ---> @_@ That's what Emily and Alison look like every time they come in contact with Mick. It's so damn annoying! LOL. Oh, PS, Ali...it's called CLOSE THE DAMN CURTAINS! Sheesh. Or nap on the couch or something.
Anyway. Enough complaining, yes? Yes. :-)
So let's talk about Jack and Carly, whee! I say "whee" sarcastically, because the two of them are making on the drama like it's their JOB (oh, wait...it kinda is their job, LOL!). But yeah. Poor Carly today. How sad was that scene in her living room when she told Jack that she needed to not love him anymore? T_T Waaaaahhhh! And Jack's woobie faces are killing me. And they both were crying! (Okay, not crying, but all teary and wet-eyed. It still counts!) Oh, boy. I think I'm jumping on the CarJack ship for now, because these two are just so sad without one another. And Janet's preoccupied with Liberty and she lights up every time Dusty calls her, so...I dunno. Jacket used to be cute, and now it's not anymore. I'm really not one to abandon my ships but...Jack and Carly are so SAD without each other! It hurts! T_T Just be together already, dammit. Liberty can rot. :-P (I'm a compassionate one, aren't I? Haha!)
And Tom and Casey father-son time YAY! So cute. I love Tom. I wish he didn't have to half-break Casey's heart with this whole "I wanna be a lawyer thing", but I'm glad he's being honest with Casey. And Casey took it very well. He kinda took it like fuel for the fire. I don't think Casey's gonna give up until he's SURE every possible outlet has been used. And hopefully, it won't break him down too much. Who better to know the legal system than an ex-con? Not that we want ALL lawyers to be ex-cons, but Casey ex-cons, I think we can deal with. :-) Man, boys on this show dream big, don't they? Casey - lawyer. Luke - owner of Grimaldi Shipping. Noah - famous director one day. Damn. Boys are shooting for the stars! :-D
And even though I'm hating on her right now, that scene where Ali asked Casey to hold her and never let go and said he was warm was really sweet. I just wish Ali wasn't gonna give in to Mick's "charms". *shudder/gag/hurl/etc*
