So, on a whim (actually, it's not so much a whim. I needed a break from Klaine after this last episode and wanted to switch my mindset), I decided to go back and re-watch Luke and Reid's entire story from beginning to end (well, sort of end. I'm not watching that crappy ending) and seriously, a couple nights ago, I literally paused my vid so I could kickyfeet in my chair and then get up and jump all over my room.
Really, I almost forgot how much I loved Luke and Reid. And even though I've seen their stuff so many times before, it doesn't take away the fact that this was one of the best things ATWT ever did - bringing Eric onto the show. He's so awesome I can't take it.
I'm actually not finished with the whole saga yet - I just reached the part where Reid walks in to Java, sees Luke and Noah laughing, thinks, "Man my life blows", and hightails it out of there. :P He is now drinking Luke's lemonade (wasn't that a total improv by Eric? Also I didn't mean for that to sound like some kind of sexual innuendo (Luke's lemonade brings all the boys to the yard woot woot!)) and Luke's all cute-faced and smoothing his jacket down. XD
Also, I must say, back when ATWT was airing, I don't think I appreciated just how much build-up LuRe had. Seriously. A ton of shit went down between them before they even kissed. They had a really nice backstory and kept ending up in each others' presence without it feeling forced, plot-wise. Man. How did the ATWT writers do this? They sucked most of the time. :P
Anywho. Just wanted to share. I have missed LuRe and now I find myself wishing once again that the show had gone on, just so we could see what would have been in store for them. *wistful sigh*
Back to my vids. Bring on the chess! :)
