THANK THE LORD. CHRIS HUGHES FINALLY STOPPED BEING A DUMBSHIT AND TOLD HIS FAMILY THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS HEALTH. GOOD GOD, THAT TOOK AN EXORBITANT AMOUNT OF TIME.
And a sigh comes up from the crowd.
Seriously, though...if I were Reid, and Chris had dropped dead right there on the golf course, I would have just pointed and laughed. 'Cause he couldn't have been more of an asshat with his health if he'd tried.
I'd also like to point out how Reid purposely jeopardized his chance at the CoS job with Leland What's-his-face just so he could get Chris off the course and into the hospital. Anyone who tells me that Reid is selfish from now on will be brutally rebuffed.
Or not. :-) I won't yell at you, I promise. :-P I just love how caring Reid is. And I love the fact that he can manipulate people like Leland into doing exactly what he wants them to do without them even realizing. It's a good thing he only uses this skill to do the right thing, eh? (Mr. Snyder's had quite the emotional impact on our good doc!)
So while Katie's declarations of LURVE for Chris have basically come out of left field, I'm just gonna go with it. They've been together for five seconds, Chris was somehow able to bonk her even though he couldn't even pick up a damn golf club today (the mind, it boggles), and suddenly they're at Engagement Stage and all goopy in love. WHATEV, ATWT. Meanwhile, Luke and Reid have been building their relationship since effing January and it was just today that Luke had his "Holy shit, I'm in love with Reid" moment. I say again: WHATEV, ATWT. You suck moose eggs.
In my happy little world, Luke and Reid and Katie and Chris all exist together on the same plane, and there are many snarky dinner double-dates, and Luke and Katie are BFFs. Oh, and Reid is the CoS. After seeing how careless Chris has been with his own health, I don't want him anywhere NEAR an important position like that!
Which brings me how much I fricken loved Luke and Katie today. He was just what she needed, when she needed it. Luke is such a sweetheart. He listened to her, and understood where she was coming from, and he comforted her while also instilling her with some courage. I love them as girlfriends!!!
And then Luke and Reid at the hospital. LULZ.
Katie: I don't think I can do this.
Reid: So...don't.
*Katie runs away with her hair on fire*
Luke, to Reid: DUDE. WTF?!
HAHA. Then Reid's all, "Gonna get some coffee now, kbye!" and Luke just tears off after him. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I love it.
Which brings me to Luke and Noah. They didn't make me sadface today, for a number of reasons.
First of all, they were honest. GOD. I have been WAITING and WAITING for this type of honesty. Noah admitted that he blamed Luke for his accident (and that it was the wrong thing to do), and was still honest about how he felt towards Luke. Luke, in turn, was also honest about how he felt (for Noah and for Reid), while remaining tactful in the process. I'm really glad they had this exchange.
And the thing Noah said, about Luke being there for every major event in his life? So true. Poor Noah. If I were him, I would also be having a hard time looking forward to L.A., when everything is all different now. :-( Heartbreak sucks. It puts a damper on EVERYTHING for a while. :-(
Previews for tomorrow look interesting, what with Reid's, "Hold the phone!" (can we get icons of that, please?), Luke's "ZOMG I'M IN LOVE WITH YOUUUU AND I TOLD NOAH, TEEHEE!" (okay, I exaggerated that a bit), and Kim growling at Katie to STAY AWAY from Chris. LOL. KIM HUGHES WILL END YOU, BEYOTCH!
:-P
