Today's episode was fantastic.
The one thing that this show does consistently well is sadness, particularly sadness surrounding a death. When Bob started reciting Nancy's favourite prayer, I lost it. What a great scene with all of the Hughes family members (and then some) gathered in Old Town.
And I'm glad that most of the episode was centered around remembering the good times and celebrating the good times of Nancy's life. I loved the throwbacks to the show's history; LOVED seeing the retro clips. This show has so much history to it - so many stories have been told (and told well) over the years that I can hardly comprehend it all.
Tom and Margo are so adorable together. I never get tired of seeing them being affectionate with one another. ♥
Lucinda and John were amazing. I felt like I was watching an unrehearsed, unscripted conversation between old friends when they were talking at Yo's. Go Liz and Larry!
Casey is the shiznit for coming up with such an awesome way to honor Nancy.
That's all I got today, folks. This episode took a lot out of me, but in a good way. :-) Feel free to gab!

PS - I totally want to try a Pink Lady now. It looked so tasty!
