Hee. Today's date is eight-nine-ten! :-P
So. Let's talk about Chris.
Oh, Chris. Okay, I understand that he doesn't want to scare Katie off, and telling her that he could potentially die is probably the quickest way to do that, but seriously...his life is at stake. He's totally freaked out and he needs support. Also, aren't his odds still good? Since he referred to it as an "infection", which says to me that he can be treated, and he's also beaten this virus before. Chin up, Chris! But tell your family. Because when they find out you've hidden this from them, it's going to be ten times worse.
Also, Bob wouldn't have put Chris over his knee for missing the meeting with the union reps at Al's if he'd known the truth. And I'm pretty sure Bob could help him (medically) as well.
And Katie. She was so sweet today with Chris. I really liked the parallel between Katie/Chris, and Luke/Reid today. Both Luke and Katie were trying to be supportive partners, and they totally succeeded (even though Chris messed it up, LOL). It was really cute.
And Reid. God, Reid, make me love you a little more, plz. So first off, he's extremely concerned about Chris, to the point where he almost spilled the beans to Katie, then started accidentally ignoring Luke (as he rambled about things that didn't concern Chris :-P), then was flat-out honest with Luke about being distracted (again, because of Chris), and then at Al's he kept hovering around Katie to see if he could hear how Chris was doing. ♥ Then he had that awesome meeting with the union reps where he just laid everything out on the line, and then later, he spontaneously kissed Luke because "life is short". Which, to me, is Reid-speak for "I love you and I want you to know it". ♥_♥ Not to mention we got that wonderful kiss right in the middle of the hallway at Memorial. LOVE!
I also loved how comfortable the two of them were at the LilyPad, and I LOVED how Luke climbed over Reid's legs to lean against him on the couch. SWOON! :-D
And HENRY! I KNEW IT! He found something - something CONRETE - that he can bring to Margo now, yes? Because for whatever reason, Margo couldn't have the lipstick smear on Chuckles tested to see if they could get some DNA off it or something. So now hopefully Henry can bring the note he found to Margo and they can FINALLY do something about it!
But why didn't Barbara start making noise when Emily came down into the cellar the first time? Seriously...I would have been kicking things, stomping my feet, screaming as best I could...something. She was surrounded by glass bottles just waiting to be broken! Agh.
Anyway, Iris is still continuing her charade as Barbara (and she's putting me to sleep in the process), and Emily has gone back down to the cellar (presumably to padlock the door :-P), and there she finds Barbara on the floor, looking like a deer in headlights. Heh. Should be interesting!
More of all of this tomorrow! Whee! :-D
