Um...is it okay if I just say WAAHHHHHH NOAH MAYER I HAVE MISSED YOU SOOOOO MU~CH!
Oh dear holy mother of sweet baby jesus lordy in heaven HAVE I MISSED NOAH LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE. I'm not talking about this Robot!Noah that we've had for these past couple months (barring that episode with Maddie and Hunter which will forever be implanted into my heart ♥), I'M TALKING ABOUT SWOOTIE!NOAH WHO LOVES LUKE AND LAUGHS HEARTILY AND IS GENERALLY AN ALL-AROUND SWEETHEART. THE ONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE HIS HEAD UP HIS BUTT. THE ONE WHO MADE HIS RE-APPEARANCE TODAY. THAT'S THE NOAH MAYER I KNOW AND LOVE!!!
*_*
Oh God. The cuteness. The cuteness. And the sweetness. THE SWEETNESS. IT ALL KILLS.
Okay, would I like to get to the recap now? :-P Gosh, but this is going to be difficult!
All right. First of all? Luke sleeping in a chair while waiting for Noah to wake up = WIN. Though I thought that the whole point of this new neuro wing and Luke's input on what to build there meant that there should be waiting rooms that are comfortable for the patients' families to be in, but obviously the new wing is not in proper working order yet and therefore, Noah did not get his surgery done there like Luke had once mentioned. LOL. Looked like the same ol' Memorial wing to me. :-P Crazy writers and their crazy writing. :-)
Anyway, thank goodness that Noah didn't have to wait till the new wing is finished to get his surgery, otherwise the show would go off the air before we got to see it, and then where would we be? Burning down the remains of the ATWT studios in Brooklyn. HAHA.
Okay. Boys now? Yes. Sorry I'm going off on the deep end about stupid things...my brain is a little scrambled from the cuteness and the sweetness and NOAH. OH NOAH. AND HIS HONESTY.
So about TEN MILLION ZILLION props need to be given to Noah today, not only for that "Your eyes are the most amazing thing I've ever seen" line (Oh dear God be sweeter), but also for the fact that one of the first things he realized was how much effort Luke had put in for him during this whole ordeal, and how much he'd hurt Luke in the process of gaining his independence. YAY! Noah, you have saved yourself from me, 'cause I was about to lose it over you, I really was. I know, I know...I'm a self-proclaimed Luke girl so I would follow Luke to the gates of hell and back, but I really didn't want to give up on you. AND NOW I TOTALLY CAN'T, and I'M SO FRIGGING HAPPY ABOUT THAT! I HAVE MISSED YOU SO!
Can I just hug him and squeeze him and rock him and hold him for the rest of the day? You guys don't mind, do you?
Noah Mayer = breath of fresh air today. FOR REAL. Oh, Noah. ♥
And then. And then? When they went up on to the roof? The bitter-sweetness was really wonderful. I know it's hard for my Nukies who are hating the fact that Reid is in the picture now, but think of all the awesome acting that's going to come out of this now. Think of how Jake can actually be a functional part of this storyline! OH YEAH, AND NOAH CAN FRICKEN SEE AGAIN. Eye-sex, anyone? :-P And Noah telling Luke about how his feelings haven't changed...♥_♥
Gotta say, though...I kinda hate the show for ending it the way it did. Seriously, that's how the show ends today's episode?! Talk about aggravating. :-) But! I liked it. *sheepish* Noah's line about "I can't see your expression, but I can feel it...something's changed" was REALLY awesome, I thought. It's really setting up for the drama that's to come.
And Luke. Poor Luke. Okay, I've heard the rumors about what Luke is going to do, and I'm going to admit that if they're true, I'm really not comfortable with that because it goes against everything I believe in, but for right now, I'm just going to focus on him day by day. And today, he was really conflicted along with being overjoyed and still in love with Noah. Which means that we are in for some nice soapy drama. ;-)
Oh, yeah, and Lily? She kinda ticked me off, because she did to Luke what Katie did to Henry when they talked about Reid. Granted, Lily was a bit better than Katie, because she listened to Luke explain his feelings and his view of Reid right away, but instead of her just saying, "Oh baby, I want you to be happy" right off the bat, she launched into an "I WANT YOU WITH NOAH" speech which frankly, I can't say I'm upset about. Ha. Is any of this recap making sense today? My brain is goo. I'm just trying to say that while I support Lily's support of Luke and Noah being together, I still kinda wished she'd let Luke make his choices without her influence ('cause Lord knows she ain't no expert when it comes to relationships). Especially since she has no idea what's been going on with Luke and Reid, and knows next to nothing about Reid. But also...Lily Snyder ships Nuke and I'm totally on board with that. :-) Ha. See what happens when you're caught in the middle like I am? It's easier just to be on one side! Gah.
Also, if I'm being honest, the scenes between Lily and Luke felt very forced to me. I mean, yeah...she saw Reid with his hand on Luke's face. That doesn't mean that the two of them are OMG SO IN LOVE LET'S GET MARRIED TOMORROW, ya know? It could have been a completely innocent gesture (never mind that it wasn't :-P). How would she know if it was or not? She's spent more time crying over stupid Gabriel and worrying about whackjob Craig than spending any time with or talking to her son about his life. But on the other hand, I still kind of liked it, because we got to see Luke's point of view on things. And yes, I'm biased, because I love Reid, so hearing Luke talk about him doesn't bother me, but I also think it's important for Luke to be able to express himself, because his feelings are ALL jumbled up at this point. Talking it out could really help him decide on what he wants to do. I just think that Holden (REMEMBER HOLDEN AND HOW ONCE UPON A TIME HE AND LUKE USED TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER, ATWT?!) would be a better choice. Holden seems to be able to offer advice without making Luke feel like he's obligated to feel the way Holden does. Still, seeing Lily finally take an interest in Luke's life made me happy.
Geez. Is this recap making any sense at all? See, this is the curse of the Gemini. My sign is the Twins, so I usually can see both sides of the story and find validity in both. Since I'm two people in one, I think that one half of me goes to the left, and one half goes to the right. I constantly find myself in the middle of everything, which I usually don't mind. But this triangle is going to cause me some sleepless nights, I think. Ack! :-) Good thing I'm a pro at being in the middle! (Seriously...I'm the middle child in my family, I was born in the middle of June, which is in the middle of the year...anyone see a pattern? :-P)
Err...wow. How about I get back to the show? Yeah.
So, the boys were amazing today. I could watch Luke make those sweet faces at Noah and listen to Noah talk about how he loves Luke all damn day. :-) AND HAPPY NOAH FTW. FTGDMFW!
Also...I know it's half because he doesn't want to admit to himself or to Noah that he has feelings for Reid, but I like the fact that Luke keeps telling Noah just to focus on himself and his health. Like when he said that right before Noah went in for the surgery? How he didn't want to talk about their issues so Noah could concentrate on getting better? I really like that. ♥ And I think it's good advice for Noah, because I have a feeling he's going to need his strength once everything starts to go downhill. :-(
Okay. Whew. Other characters now. Fly-by recap on them? Sure!
Molly Conlan = DUMB. She's really ticking me off now. I mean, yeah...she went to Silas to tell him to back the hell off (and I admit, his line about "I thought I heard your farmboy clopping up here to save you" made me giggle like WHOA!), but she's really not handling this very well. She still lets Silas call the shots. And she's still going to see him on her own, even after Holden very expressly said he wasn't comfortable with that. And why? BECAUSE SILAS TRIED TO KILL MOLLY. Anybody else see the problem here? Then Silas decides to send Molly some sexy lingerie? UGH. Somebody run that guy over with a truck!
And the NutMeg/Eliza debacle today? Hoo boy. Apparently it wasn't Emma who took Eliza (as some of you suspected, hee! :-)), but she ended up at the police station with Eliza anyway, and now Viper!Mom Emma is on the warpath. I can understand Emma wanting to protect Meg (and seriously, that scene at the station where Meg turned to Emma and screamed, "She almost lost my baby!" made me LAUGH, because it was like she was twelve and Emma was Mommy Moderator between the two of them. Like, if Meg had screamed, "She took my teddy bear!" it would have been the same situation, LOL!), but I don't know if I like this new side of Emma. And now NutMeg's gonna have even more reason to be nutty because Emily truly screwed up BIG-TIME. And instead of taking the high road, Meg and Emma are now going to stick it to Emily with all they've got.
And they're not the only ones. Paul, understandably, is PISSED. He doesn't want anything to jeopardize his future with Eliza, and Emily has done just that. It was unfair of him to bring up past issues (like the fact that Emily once shot him in the back), but he's allowed to be angry right now. This is most likely just a blip for Emily, because I'm positive she won't make this same mistake again, but Paul has to be afforded time to deal with this on his own. Poor Emily's gonna have to give him that time and space. Hopefully Paul will come around.
And Lily and Holden today. Holden says, "It's over, we're done," blah blah, and Lily seems to respect that, except I think she's clinging a little too much to him. I'm glad Holden hired a security team for the Lilypad, though honestly...remember how Craig snapped at Lily and told her to stay the hell away from him? Something tells me he really doesn't want to be near Lily right now. And the fact that he's all torn up about Gabriel nearly dying? Why would he be okay with murdering Lily or something then? I is confuzzled. And yeah, Holden brought up what Craig did to Lucinda, but 1) Lucinda had forced her way into Craig's room, and 2) Craig had just learned he was Gabriel's father and was flipping out like a crazy person on everyone, and 3) Craig was half-drunk at the time when he strangled Lucinda. (Not that that's a viable excuse...I'm just sayin'. :-P) I don't think Lily really needs to worry...not yet, anyway. Craig seems more focused on bringing Parker down with him than Lily at the mo.
But I guess we'll see what happens! :-)
Gotta go now...I gotta weep with happiness while I re-watch all those sweet moments between the boys. ♥ More tomorrow!
