I got a new filter for my fish tank. I put it on the tank, put in 1 quart of water, and it started working the moment I plugged it in. I definitely needed a new one. Work was so much better then I had dreaded. It was a slow day. Not one of those boring slow days. It was slow enough that I didn't go crazy though. Which is a very good thing. I got a new betta the other day. All of my females died for no apparent reason. *ugh* So I went to PetSmart and got a lovely male betta. He has a white body with dark (almost black) spots on it, where his fins attach he has red markings, and his fins are a faint blue. I still need to name him. So I found Placebo, my other snail. Now both Protozoa and Placebo are dead. It was sad that I had to find both of them out of the tank and dead. Tis sad really because I loved both of those stupid little things. *sigh* Oh well, I guess. Not to mention another one of my tetra's died. So last night like right after I feel asleep my filter started making this weird sound. Placebo, my snail, was stuck on it I think. So I pried him off with the net. When I went to touch my filter, I found a giant clutch of eggs on the BACK of the filter. Some little sucker got out of the tank and laid eggs. Sneaky little sucker. So I was cleaning out my aquarium because the betta girls had been digging up the plants. As I was looking I realized that I couldn't find my orange mystery snail.
