So I've just received my first ever credit card.  I went with BA in the end, because woo, air miles.  Something very important to me, and I don't plan on using the card for anything I can't actually afford.  However, thusly armed, I have arranged the following.

After spending all day inside, I went for a walk down on the lakeside as the sun finally disappeared into the gloom and grey. If I hadn't really paid it attention, it was a cold shock of awareness to feel the cold biting in deep to the bone and even now my hands still carry that chill, as if the evening had rolled in off the mountains themselves.  ( Read more... )

A good weekend consists of waking up, stretching out, then pulling the duvet and pillows back around me and snuggling back into the warmth of my Very Own Bed.   It's cups of tea made in a teapot, brewed and stirred before being carefully poured. Sunday night i have a panic because last I knew, my bro was in Istanbul, and the two bombs had just gone off there. Of course, when I rang, he didn't even know there had been bombs, so at least he wasn't involved.

Today, I find out he's in Romania.

His life in infinately more fun than mine!
