Survived the weekend in Cardiff.  Too tired to believe though, and got 2 articles I want to read tonight.

What the hell was I thinking?

Off to Cardiff for the weekend. Sans internet. 2 whole days of paid work. Too bad there's about 15 books and 8 articles I would have liked to read before then.

I think I'll give up sleeping.

Oh yes, and there's a gale hitting Britain, and Wales, in particular. Marvelleous.

So the hotel is fine, by hotel standards. I have used the gym, and failed to properly utilise the swimming pool (I swam 8 lengths, which is 120metres, and then stopped). So hot, hate my job.

And it's only Tuesday.

Work aside, this was a long and involved week. At work, they have continued to affirm my initial assessment; this is a rubbish place to work, and they have no people management skills whatsoever. I spent an hour and a quarter getting into work this morning. And then, standing by the window making tea, I looked out, and Prince Phillip trotted past in his horse-drawn cart.

Too bad that was the highlight of my day.
