TDBRAF-Chapter 7
“I missed you.” Ryo looked at his boyfriend lovingly as he gently stroked the younger man’s cheek with his thumb.
“I missed you, too.” Tomohisa looked back in his lover’s eyes with all the affection he felt for the man, but soon wrapped him in a hug as tears began spilling for the older man’s eyes. “Shhh, it’s okay. I’m alright now. You don’t need to worry.” Yamapi attempted to comfort the crying man in his arms as he soothingly rubbed Ryo’s back.
Ryo, on the other hand, didn’t say anything and just let his sobs worsen. He wasn’t quite sure why exactly he was crying. Was he crying because he was finally relieved of the worry he felt over his boyfriend’s coma, or was it because he felt betrayed by the man he felt himself beginning to fall in love with? Whatever the reason was, he didn’t try to think of it then as he let himself relax into the comforting embrace of his best friend, of his love.

Once Ryo left his room, Tatsuya reflected on the past few weeks that he had been in the hospital for. The younger man had come and visited him every day and his growing discomfort at leaving him to go see his boyfriend was plainly laid out on his face. Ueda knew it wouldn’t be long before Ryo would choose between the two of them, and his confidence that the younger man would actually choose him was growing with every second, especially with his only rival currently in a coma. Secretly, Tatsuya wished things would stay this way that Yamashita would stay in a coma and Ryo would continue to visit him every day, but he would never tell this to the younger man for he was sure to get upset. Sadly, Yamashita was sure to wake up soon, so all Tatsuya really had to do was make sure Ryo was so helplessly in love with him that he couldn’t live without him, before that happened.
He thought at this point he was pretty close. They had yet to fight or argue or anything that usually was present in their relationship, but that was pretty much due to Ueda’s ability not to bring up the times the other man had stood him up to go out with that arrogant bastard of a boyfriend he had. Just a little bit longer and Ryo would leave the other man and be his forever. Tatsuya was quite sure of this. All his patience and commitment would soon pay off and they could be happy together, that was until Ryo walked in with a rather grim look on his face causing the smile on Tatsuya’s face to fall.
Nishikido took the seat next to Ueda’s bed and looked into the other’s eyes like he was searching for something. After a moment’s silence, Ryo sighed and broke the eye contact in favor of staring at the corner of the bed. “Tomohisa woke up.”
With that simple sentence, Tatsuya’s good mood quickly plummeted as he felt Ryo’s gaze back on him searching for his reaction. Ueda suppressed his sadness to give a fairly fake smile. “That’s good.”
“It is, but you don’t think so.” Ryo stated plainly.
“Ryo, what…”
“It’s okay. I figured you would react like this. I know.”
“You know what?” Tatsuya was confused to say the least, but also a bit hopeful that Ryo would take this moment to confess his feelings for him.
“I know what you’ve done. What you’ve been doing.” Ryo face showed no expression that would help Tatsuya have any idea what the younger man was speaking about.
“What have I been doing? Ryo, I don’t understand…I…” Ueda was exasperated. He just wanted the other man to stop beating around the bush and clearly explain what was going on.
Ryo sighed before continuing. “I know about the letters and ‘presents’ you’ve sent me. I know you’ve been stalking me, and I’m pretty sure Pi’s accident wasn’t really an accident.”
Tatsuya’s eyes went wide with shock. What exactly was Ryo talking about? “I…I…” Tatsuya struggled to find words, but they eluded him.
“It’s okay. I’m going to get you help and then once you’re better, maybe we can start over again.” Ryo reached out his hand and started stroking Tatsuya’s face as he put on a comforting expression.
“Ryo, I’m…I’m not crazy.” Ueda was hurt that Nishikido would accuse him of such as he felt his eyes start to water.
“It’s okay. I’ll help you any way I can, but I really think you need to do this, okay?” Ryo gave Tatsuya a comforting smile as some men in whit entered the room.
Ueda was a bit distressed about what was going on, but as Ryo leant down and gave him a kiss on the forehead, Tatsuya knew that if he made it through this, if he did this for Ryo, then maybe they could finally be together without anyone interfering.
As Ryo stepped away from the bed and the strange men came closer, Tatsuya gave Ryo the best smile he could manage at the moment to let his love know that he was going to do this for him, for them.

I'm not sure how well this goes with the previous parts since I didn't remember any of the previous chapters and had to reread them.
