Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ^_^
Went out with April yesterday ^^ Have never actually been out anywhere with her before, so that was fun. We went to Guildford, had lunch at Wagamama's - the girl had never had Japanese food before, I was like 0__0 Didn't even know what green tea was!! She hasn't lived!! XD Then we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
1. Johnny Depp is the best Willy Wonka zOMG ever!! XD~~~~~ So hilarious! Great facial expressions, my God... and wicked cool clothes ^^ Though the hair was yes, slightly odd... I think I was probably the only person in the world who thought he was actually pretty sexy in that role... ^^ Oh well...
2. Tim Burton + Roald Dahl -----> Instant Magic! The bit with the puppets bursting into fire at the beginning was so Tim Burton, it was great ^_^ <3<3<3
3. Freddie Highmore rocks. The kid can act like whoa. 'Nuff said.
4. Letitia Cropley (from Vicar of Dibley) was Grandma Georgina ^^ Knew I recognised her...
5. Saruman Christopher Lee, Evil Man Extroadinaire, was Willy Wonka's father ^_^ When he had Depp's mouth open and was prodding at his teeth, I kept expecting him to say "Give me the ring or I'll pull all your teeth out!"
6. Young Willy Wonka's brace -----> XDDDDDDDDD
7. General randomness and insane stuff ---> <3 Johnny Depp was great with the random lines, like "Haha! You're weird!" which cracked me up for omgEVER.
8. The Oompa Loompas. Their songs were kickass. Gotta hand it to Danny Elfman, those songs were truly class ^^ A great step up from the whole 'Oompa Loompa doobedy doo' rubbish...
Grandma Georgina: You smell like nuts. I like it.
Willy Wonka: You smell like old people. And soap. I like it!

Anyway, Flo and I are gonna take Stell to see it on Thursday as she hasn't yet... Should be fun ^_^
So anyways, went to Kirsty's party today... Got to see Venetia again ^^ and Alex, Isobel, Hannah M were there. It was cool - Kirsty has like an enormous ginormous house with an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna room and a tennis court 0_0 Flo and I played doubles against Kirsty and Stell - and thrashed them ^^ I restrained myself and didn't shout out random Prince of Tennis derived phrases... BURNING!!! Then Flo and me played a bit of singles, and went into the hot tub ^_^ It was... well, bubbly and hot. Never been in one before, so that was cool ^.^
Now I'm really annoyed with my parents for... Well, it doesn't matter, but I don't really feel like talking to them much. I can't wait til I leave home, I really can't... They can be so bloody awful to me... And freakin' unreasonable, but maybe I'm just making mountains outta mole-hills or whatever. Crap.
