Ok, holiday to Portugal post ^^ (see, I got round to it
suntanned67!! You can't rush these things!)

Monday 11th: Had to get up at 3 to go to the airport 0_~ Bleurgh. Flight was at about 6 or so, only lasted 2 hours, so that was great. Touched down in Lisbon, which is in the same time zone as London, score! No jet lag. Arrived at the
scrat_squirrel's house with
suntanned67 and
shadow_allie, both of whom I'd never met before as they live in Florida. I could tell they were shifty when I first met them, as their eyes were too close together... ^_^ Nah, they were great. Began to try and teach them English - words like loo, crisps, trousers, rubbish, minging, manky, wanker, git etc. We mucked around in the pool outside Stell's villa - my God, but it was pristinely clean, and farking huge house 0_0 and Stell and I sang along to the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman move over, here we come! ^^
Andrea, Me and Stell
Walking Guy!! (There was also Clipping-Trousers Guy, but we won't go into him...)
Me looking worried because Andrea was brandishing a camera rather threateningly... 0_0
Tuesday 12th: Tried to teach Allie and Andrea to play Tig, courtesy of Dominic Monaghan ::tips hat:: (only people who've been scary and obsessive and watched the Lord of the Rings cast commentary will know what I'm on about...). We also played THE GAME which was absolutely hilarious - write random things on a piece of paper, then pick them out of a hat and maintain a conversation while saying them. Ensured we spent a good portion of the rest of the holiday saying things such as "When you walk like that you look like string cheese, baby" and "I can't help you feed the ducks, it's against my religion". Class ^.^
Wednesday 13th: Went to local town of Obidos - very pretty local town. Walked around the town wall and looked in the little shops ^^ That evening went to a party at the house of the man who owned the resort (friend of Stell's parents ^^ ) Felt very important. Watched Without A Paddle, some Room 101 and random other stuff on the TV. Very nice food too. Returned home early in the morning - Stell's parents were drunk so we refused to go in the car, but ran barefoot throught the streets, it was great ^^ Then we played The Game with Stell's father, who was funnier than ever because he was playing sozzled.
Stell's dad, Andrea, Allie and me ^_^

Me, Allie, Stell & Andrea ^^
Me, Andrea, Stell & Allie being g-hetto yo ^^
Thursday 14th: Went to the beach ^^ Very pretty, right at the edge of the resort - about 20 minutes walk. Water was cold, because we were on the Atlantic coast rather than the Mediterranean. We built a sandcastle. Had a BBQ and read Nick Hornby's 'A Long Way Down' - very spiffy book.
The Atlantic Ocean!!
Sunset over Praia D'el Rey.
Friday 15th: Went to a fish market in Caldas da Rainha. It smelt of fish XD Went shopping some, bought a skirt. Ate far too much ice cream (all holiday, actually...) Went and ate at the club-house, saw Luis!! ^^ XD Went running again, not barefoot this time...
Saturday 16th: Went to the sea again. In the evening we went to Obidos again for the Medieval festival, Andrea and I had a blast ^_^ POTATO-SACK MAN!!! ::ahem:: but it was great, there were people juggling with fire, riding ponies and re-enacting invasions on the castle walls - I mightn't have understood anything, knowing only the word 'Obrigado', but it was still cool.
Guy juggling fire. One of the people doing this (not this one) dropped his torch thing and it almost set light to this lady's shoes. It was very funny ^^
Andrea and The Duck. Oh, the humanity!!!
Andrea and Stell!! Aww!!
"What are those wet patches in the sand?"
"... You don't want to know..."
Sunday 17th: Went into Peniche and did a bit of tourist-ing. Went to a horse themed restaurant in the evening, where Stell's parents ordered literally the entire menu. Lovely bread and meat ::drools::
Monday 18th: Went shopping today (can't quite remember where >.< ), didn't have much money so couldn't buy much... Or anything... But there we go. Made hysterically funny films with Andrea, of her ear-raping Allie while she was asleep XD and of us walking on the wall. And we tried to surreptitiously film the other people at the pool, which was quite entertaining... If I could work out an easy way to put up films on the internet... ^^ Went running with Allie in the evening, this van went past and as it did this guy opened the back up and shouted "Come in, ladies!" So many pervy men in this country, my God.
Tuesday 19th: Went shopping in Lisbon. 1 hour car journey transformed into a 3 hour one due to getting rather spectacularly lost. Still, did ensure we saw a lot of Lisbon ^.^ Bought a very nice notebook from this huge shopping centre where we spent the day. Stell went round with her mum, and Allie, Andrea and I split off. I was incredibly tired towards the end of the day, plus I had no money after getting the notebook, so I was very lethargic by the end. Still, had marzipan ^^ That cheered me up. Went past a bookshop selling Harry Potter HBP which I hadn't read by that point (I had a copy waiting for me at home) but I read the first sentence before I was forcibly prevented from continuing by the other two. Had dinner at the Clubhouse, with a rather horrendous singer... "Is he singing in English?" XD who kept saying "whoo".
Andrea being G-Hetto!!
Estelle as a G-Hangster! 0_0 Seriously, this is scary, it looks nothing like her...
Wednesday 20th: Read 'The Secret Life of Bees' so I could understand what Andrea was complaining about - yeah, it was kinda boring. Drew obese stick-people, and generally arsed around. Read newspapers - Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail (Ugh!) all morning, and got newsprint all over my face. Attractive. Went out for yummy Cinnamon ice cream! Have listened to a lot of strange music this holiday, from Aaron Carter to the George Bush cover of United States of Whatever to Pretty Fly for a Rabbi... Took a walk with Andrea to the Pool of the Haunted Shower and stole a foot. A plastic one, not a real one. Yeah. She actually took it back to England with her, the weirdo. We replaced it with a McDonalds Polly toy though, so it's all good. Went to Obidos for dinner - today was the Day of the Dead or Day of the Plague or something, anyway, there was this guy walking round covered in fake sores. Eww. Andrea picked every last bit of octopus out of her seafood pasta, the wimp, and modeled with Allie's enormous 'kebab':
They don't do things by half in that country, by gum... 0_0 Anyway, then watched some Medieval play, obviously since it was in Portuguese we had no clue what was going on, but Allie and I decided it was the history of the French Freedom Fry ( <---- for God's sakes...) or 'chip' as people who speak English properly call it. There was also for some reason a Scottish guy in the Portuguese royal court playing the bagpipes, presumably he came free with a particularly large order of shortbread.
Thursday 21st: Packed in the morning. In the afternoon went out into the town of Alcobaca and visited the Church - v. large. Took 20 minutes and E2,25 to find the loos - very traumatic experience. Very beautiful Church, though. I translated the Latin on the tombs for Allie's benefit. Stell and her mum did some more shopping. Andrea called Allie a futt-butt ^^ and has become obsessed with looking g-hetto and popping her collar. The two of them also decided it would be a good idea for us all to sleep together tonight, so we moved Stell's bed and my bed together. Only managed to put up with an hour or so of giggling and shouting before Andrea and Allie left at the request of me and Stells so that we could get some sleep! Oh well ^^
Friday 22nd: Heard about what happened in London yesterday, which made me feel a little sick... Anyway, got to the airport in Lisbon about 3.30 or so, then had an incident. Basically, we went into the lift, and there was this dude in it already. He got out at 3rd floor, but there was tape over the exit, which was weird. We carried on up to 4th. As the doors opened, immediately this security and this other guy shouting down a phone ran in and started shouting at us in Portuguese, then English, then French. We were made to go down this stopped esaclator to a cordoned off area with other people waiting. There were security guard running all over the place, and then, I swear to God, a fucking gunshot, like really loud. Kinda scary, but pretty damn exciting. The guards ran around some more, then after another 5 or 10 minutes we were allowed to go. They didn't tell us what had happened. I was a bit nervous, given that we were going to London, Terrorist Central, and all that, but the flight was fine and we got back to England about 7:45. Then we were held up in traffic on the motorway, finally got back to Stell's house, and I was taken home about 11 o'clock.
So yeah ^^ That was my trip. It was lots of fun, thanks again Stelly-pon for letting me stay at your house ::glomps:: And Allie and Andrea, hope you enjoy the rest of your time in England. It's a fucking shame about the bombs, it really sucks, but I hope you find other stuff to do apart from going into London.
