so there are things to be said about how incredibly lazy it is to use exposition dumps, especially of things that, with proper pacing, would be legitimately interesting to see on their own
and there are things to be said about how the romance has completely derailed Korra's character development and makes me hate Mako more and more with every second
and there are things to be said about easy endings
but there are also things to be said about how it took thirty seconds for the villains to become infinitely more sympathetic than the heroes
so on one hand I am all "well that actually was not very good was it" and the other hand I am pretty much just sobbing brokenly forever
