(no subject)
So! This is a post I was bound to make sooner or later, and then I realized that "sooner" is the better option, and thus: this is my official I Am Looking For A Roommate In The Seattle Area post. I don't think the ones of you who actually live there are available, but hey, maybe somebody on the internet knows someone who is? Optimism! Or at least cynicism that has not yet been clamped down.
Here are some things that you should know:
-No smoking, please
-I would love to have pets but my immune system does not so anything with fur is out (birds and lizards are probably okay, though)
-I'm cool with all varieties of the sexuality and gender spectrums
-I am also cool with any variety of religion that does not involve actively oppressing people
-I'm not much of a loud-people-staying-up-late person, mostly because my particular style of epilepsy involves needing to get sufficient sleep or else there will be problems. I'm good with flashing lights, though, don't worry.
-My need for a roommate is primarily money-based; I don't need to live in a rat hole, but something that doesn't go above $500 or $600 for my share of the rent is a requirement. Mansions are out of my reach, sorry.
-It would be nice to have a fannish roommate but that is totally not a requirement; I will take anyone who fits the above requirements and does not, like, stomp kittens in their free time or whatever.
The big thing: I have not actually found an apartment yet! This is pretty much entirely because I have not found a roommate yet, for I am antsy about picking a place to live for a significant amount of time with a person who does not actually like living there. But once I do have a roommate squared away, mutual visits to apartment options are totally available.
