The meals were being prepared in the big hall, and the twins were doing their share of the work. This was a sietch, not the palace at Arrakeen. An advantage of this was that there was little information that could escape them.

Once again, in his vision, Leto was running across the desert. The noise of the oncoming storm filled his ears, and only the voice of his father cut through the sound:
( “The Golden Path. It’s up to you now. The desert storm that can’t be stopped. The whirlwind.” )

His dreams had been strange. That was the first thought that came into Leto's mind as sleep faded. He had been a goddess expecting twins, and while he could remember his mother's pregnancy, the actual experience had been different. All that fear and anger - Leto sighed, shifting in half-sleep.
