I went to an estate sale today near closing time, and managed to snag a stuffed rattlesnake and a somewhat beat up stuffed cobra for $50 each! Not too bad of a deal. I've been looking to add some reptiles to my collection for a while now, and am thrilled to have found something as neat as a cobra. I live in the Arizona desert and yet lately I've been encountering the occasional Tiger salamander! My friend recently got a bunch of pigs hearts and is giving me one. I was wondering how I would go about preserving it, preferably in a jar. I know people preserve small specimens with rubbing alcohol, but I am curious what you would recommend for a whole heart.
