music matters!

so a good friend was over my place the other day, and she was checking her email on my computer. i started hacking out a tune on the piano, and after a few minutes she looked up, and was taken back that i was playing. she said that she thought it had been the computer playing music.

this is a huge compliment for me. the last comment i had on my pianing skills was "when you play that thing it is painful to life".

i'm definitely improving, and it feels great. i love playing. very relaxing. almost zen like.
