With the diagnosis of Crohn's came a prescription for Pentasa. Pentasa is an interesting drug. It's an anti-inflammatory that specifically reduces inflammation only in the intestines. I had a realization over the weekend: that I'll never be able to exercise enough or regularly enough to lose more than 2-3 pounds, so if I want to lose 10, I need to eat less than I've been eating. I took Cinnamon and Kosette to the vet's yesterday, with the help of a local friend who did the driving and the carrying.
