"But I want to help. Besides, Rosie always said that if you were the one cooking we should just skip the meal and sneak downstairs for food after you went to bed. Cause it's better for our health." Madeline said, staring down at Alphonse.
Winry bit her lip to keep from laughing at that and patted Ed's arm. "It'll be alright if she helps a little."
"Hey, I learned to cook pretty well," Ed shot back. At that, Alphonse started fussing in Nicolas' arms, prompting the boy to look up at his mother helplessly.
Nicolas wrinkled his nose at that. "Yeah, well, where do you get that?," he asked, ignoring his father, whose shoulders were shaking with barely contained laughter.
Winry bit her lip to keep from laughing at that and patted Ed's arm. "It'll be alright if she helps a little."
