i should join the sideshow.
laura and i went to the coney island sideshow yesterday. it was really fun, if not a little dorky. i love seeing hot, tattooed/pierced people put themselves in dangerous situations i guess. hah.
i even got to shake hands with Eak the Geek, this huge dude with tattoos from head to toe who got squeezed by two beds of nails and then talked about peace and love and respecting fellow humans. it took alot for me not to say "i want to be like you when i grow up". haha, guess i'm a geek too.
then we went on the astroland roller-coaster, ate funnel-cake, came home and got tanked on gin and tonics.
good times.
meanwhile my ex-girlfriend, who is staying in my apartment back in SF texts me to say she met leslie fienberg and that shi asked her out to dinner. i would give my first born to meet hir...i hesitate to call fienberg one of my personal heros, but shis up there. it pisses me off a little bit....because i know that even if i did meet hir, i wouldnt know what to say...whereas i'm sure elle could carry on an intelligent conversation.
i'm trying my best not to think about it.
