Despite what seems to have happened in the rest of the country, last night's storm doesn't seem to have amounted to much here, or else I slept through it. Toddled (exactly the right word) up the road to the health centre to get my feet seen to, since I can no longer reach my left foot unaided. I've never had a pedicure before, but it was surprisingly pleasant, and now my feet look delightfully tidy, clawless and symmetrical.
