southern california

If anyone here lives in southern California. Specifically Orange county and may know of a therapist who is familiar with transitioning and talking to parents about kids gender disorders please private message me. My little brother is 11 and my step Mother and Father are having a hard time dealing with the fact that he wants to be female. I am a 27 year old FTM and I am the only one that he feels comfortable talking to but I live in Northern California so I can't always be physically there for him. My step mom and Dad always try and avoid the subject when I try to talk to them about him and it's really getting on my nerves. My little is so beyond his years and unlike me, when he gets made fun of at school for being 'too girly' he stands up for himself and has confidence as the person he is. I fear that the fact that my step mom and dad are not letting him be who he wants because "he will just get made fun of more" is actually causing more problems. the reason I refer to him as 'he' is because I told him that if he would like me to change pronouns when referring to him to just go ahead and let me know... but he doesn't want to make our parents upset with him.
If anyonehas any advice as to any doctors I may be able to talk to my parents about or any groups near the Huntington Beach area please let me know. Thank you!
