Hey guys, this got a bit long but I really need some advice about coming out to my boyfriend, who sees me as a cis female. I'm 18, he's 20 and we've just started going out. I'm out to a few friends at uni but I haven't started trying to pass yet. I'm seeing a gender psychologist in my vac, who will refer me to an endo. Hopefully I'll be starting T in the next few months. Eventually I'd like to get top surgery, but it's not that urgent, and I'm undecided about bottom surgery. I know my bf has dated guys before, and he's said that he's mostly heterosexual but that there are some 'really special guys who are exceptions'. If I'm going to be going on T soon and coming out publicly (it's a small uni and I'm already noticed a lot because I have dyed hair, tattoos etc.), I want him to know first. I just don't know how to tell him - I want to make it clear that I'm only changing physically, and my name will change. I'm still going to be the same person, I'll still wear the same clothes (tshirt and jeans with a lot of makeup and accessories), I still feel the same about him.
