Second Response to Letter
I heard back from my older son with some nice things said but mainly a comment about one bad incident in his childhood which I never knew about until he was an adult. I know things cast long shadows but blaming me for 'putting him in a place where these people are known to...." yeah, abuse. In my defense it was an innocent time and it wasn't like we were Catholic; would he blame me if the incident happened at church? I realize this is nothing about me (or at least I didn't think it was) but hello depression until I can work back through who I was at that time (thank GOD we improve as we age) and that none of what occurred was due to my choices - short of divorcing his father. And LJ just stopped working forme again.
