I was reading my friends page this morning...
and I was bitching about how nobody had posted this morning, and I realized, Hey, Michelle, you haven't posted in AGES!!!
Here goes, in my favorite bullet points :-)
-Nate has been here for 3 weeks now and things are WONDERFUL!!!! I am so happy right now. We are getting along great, no fights yet, and for now, everything is perfect :-)He is making dinner right now. I wish you could see my smile :-)
-I have some friends who are really stupid. Don't worry, none of them read LJ, but lets suffice to say that I am a bit put off by some of them. Actually one. And she is doing some dumb shit.
-Congrats on the new job, Amanda, I hope jury duty was good today :-)
-I was THRILLED this morning to see that my old pal Chris (AKA Princess, which from now on I will not call him since he is now a Navy man!!!) is on LJ. So exciting to see what is going on with him.
-I. Hate. Teaching. Lessons.
-I paid off my Discover bill and my Associates Visa is next. Yippity Skippity.Got a HUGE check from my Childs Park gig for a few extra things we did. (I am talking $300 for about 5 hours work. Not bad, eh?)
-I had an interesting weekend. We had Monday and Tuesday off due to the hurricane. Sunday my aunt from MN called me, and was in town for a funeral of my secone cousin (nobody told me he had died...) but she is my favorite aunty so we went and picked her up from Clearwater where there is no power, and her Monday AM flight was cancelled so she left Tuesday, and we got to spend ALL day monday together, it was great!!! And Nate got to meet one of my family members that ISNT my mom. They liked each other, and we watched Band of Brothers which was on DVR since 9/11. GREAT miniseries and you all need to watch it.
-I can't wait until the frigging election. They are both complete idiots and though I couldn't live with myself if I voted for Bush, I can't stand Kerry either. Though I would like a President who can string together a coherant sentence, they both irritate me.
-Nate has a spiffy laptop, and my dinosaur computer is collecting dust (weep)
-My students are doing very well. The only problem is that we never know when we will have a full week of school due to this damned hurricane season!!!
Well dinner is done, and I have to leave for CP soon, so you guys have a great week!
