8 days and counting......
Well only a short 8 days until Nate gets here. Needless, there is a lot of stuff I need to do before that time. CLEAN is the largest chore, but really preparing myself mentally is the biggest part. Its so surreal and abstract that he is even coming here. I have never lived with a guy before, not even any brothers!!! He knows this. It is going to be quite an ajustment for both of us, but I think we are both in the mindset that we want to work on this and really, him coming down here is the only way to do that. Just waiting 3 weeks for him has been killing me, what would it insane waiting 10 months. I still see a really good future for us, and we are both very excited. We just gotta be reeeeeeeeeally careful, about, well, stuff. We are both broke and I really don't want to be having a kid right now and ruining both of our plans. Him, finishing school, and me at least starting my masters first, plus we want to get married first, and be married for awhile before we even consider kids. Anyway, so yea.
My friends and I have devised a twice-monthly game night. It is turning out UBER-well!! We meet every 2nd friday or saturday at either my or jacquies place. It started out with me, jacquie, cory, and stef, but since the beginning (about 1.5 months ago) have included a random cast of newbies, such as jacquies parents (THEY ARE FUN!) friends of corys, and other friends of mine. Yay! I LOVE board and card games so this is great. The hostess makes or orders the main dish and everyone else brings something, Steph usually brings a KICKASS desert, so yay all around.
Work is going very well. The kids aren't driving me to kill them yet. My lessons ARE killing me though, I have 14 students right now. Seriously, that is out of control.......hopefully Nate can find a great job and I can quit that one as soon as I get my credit cards paid off (my discover card will be done this month!!.......its been stuck at over $960 for 3 years now) thats the only reason I took that job in the first place, but I never got around to applying my pay to my debt! My community center gig is going well, no complaints there!
Nate is such a great guy, I can't wait until he gets here. I just hope I can make him as happy as he makes me. :-)
