Everything is going better! I've written 1700 words so far today, rounding me up to just above 25k - Cela's been to pray at the chapel, where C'zar stood around kicking at the pillars of her devotion, and now she's sitting across from him at some nameless inn, searching for a way to tell him she hates his guts and wants to thank him at the same time.
Whoever said silence is boring didn't know what they were talking about.
I'm going to have to go back and fill in the gaping holes of this as soon as I'm finished, but there's a lot of references to things that have happened that I haven't written down, things that are pretty important but somehow drearily boring at the same time. Some day, I'm going to explain how it came to be that Nazli was around in Fenway when they don't actually meet her until they're halfway to Ren-Dahaka. Some day, I'm going to explain how C'zar got from that fishing village to the crossroads three miles down the road after that burning wall fell on him. Some day, I'm going to find the rest of my plot. But not today - today I'm puffing ahead on the strand of plot I'm on, because it's going so well.
If only KH2 was this easy - I keep getting stuck on stupid mini-games. I mean, if I press the button that says "left", I'm supposed to turn left, not crash headlong into the wall.....
